After installation, the module installs the block to "left" region, if the theme don't have a region named "left" don't show the block, this issue can generate a confusion to the administrators.

The default region for this block is actually 'right'.

I believe it is a better user experience to leave this block enabled by default (and thus placed into a default region) even if that region does not exist in your theme. Since 'right' is a default region, I believe it's safe to leave as-is.
