Ability to specify a HTTP path instead of uploading a file to be played, as mp3.swf uses a playlist anyway

What direction do i need to go in to add the ability to specify a HTTP path for the file so it adds it to the playlist that is passed to the mp3.swf instead of uploading a file? handy for when someone doesnt want to upload their audio but wants to publish it
