Hi! I am a long time user of open Calais. The server load though while gettign the keywords from calais is pretty high thgouh sometimes. Can you tell be the benefits of using this over open calais? What are the differences between these 2 modules? Thanks for any info.

Extractor currently only supports yahoo placemaker which is a geotagger and a simple term extraction method which can simply looks up terms in a taxonomy vocabulary in the text. The big advantage of the simple term extraction is that it's fast as it doesn't use an external service.

Further, Extractor does not have any nodeapi integration but works with Feeds. If you don't really know whether you should use Extractor, don't use it. It's somewhat of a custom solution for Managing News and I'd like to merge it with auto tagger module at some point in the future.
