I have no problem importing 2.0 feeds, but many of my best news sources are running 0.91 feeds -- is this a limitation, or am I misconfiguring something?

There should be no problem with older new feeds. But there /is/ a problem with invalid newsfeeds.

For the time being there is no real solution to this, since the feed validation in this module is far too tight!

Would you be so kind as to use a feedvaildator and see if the feeds you are talking about are valid at all?
