drush not allowing install of fbconnect ... gives error

Here is the error that drush is reporting:

/sites/all/modules$ drush dl fbconnect
There is no recommended release for project fbconnect on Drupal 6.x. Ask the maintainer to create a release  [error]
in order to be compatible with drush and the drupal.org security broadcast system. A development snapshot
release is sufficient.
An error occurred at function : drush_pm_download                                                            [error]

The work-around is to just download and install "manually", which I did, but wanted the maintainers to know about this.
