Trying to install Gallery 3 (will try 2.x if I fail :-) ) ...I read that the prog itself is installed in its own folder (done) and that only Gallery modules go in sites/all/modules. Assuming I'm even understanding all this correctly, I am about to FTP a bundle of Gallery modules to sites/all/modules. My question: can I put them all within sites/all/modules/g3 [or whatever sub dir] and then tell Drupal to look in this sub folder? If so, how & where do I tell Drupal to find this /g3 folder?

Well, I was hoping that that should be the case. However, can anyone tell me how/where?
The alternative is to have lots of extra modules running feral around sites/all/modules ....there's enough to keep track of in Drupal without cluttering up things even worse :-)
My error
My mistake ....I've realilsed that the 'modules' I was looking at were in fact Gallery modules and not Drupal ones.
There's a Drupal module for Gallery 2.x but, I assume, not yet for Gallery 3.
All is clearer!! ....although somewhat embarrassed! :-)
