At the moment, the dev version allows multiple search block but is it possible to have each of these block have different search criteria. For example, each block can be configured differently. Each is a separate and independent instance?
Great job so far!!

jdanthinne commentedYes, it would be possible. I've just implemented the function because someone asked to be able to have a search box per content type.
What would you customize for each check box? It terms of UI, this is important, because we already have 3 pages full of options for one seach box...

ibexy commentedIts a bit bit hard for me to explain. What I mean is to allow each search block to be independent with options to attach any vocabulary. At the moment when you create a block, only one single seach text box appears. Is it possible to attach a different taxonomy dropdown etc to this box. At the end, have more than one search box but with different options to choose.
A different search box for each menu option relevant to the content of that page. For example if menu option1 on a directory site is about classified adverts, having a search box with taxonomy options Adverts will not be relevant on the second menu option which deal with business listings. You will need to search business listings based on another vocabulary. So you will need to activate a different search block for each page with relevant options.
Thanks.

jdanthinne commentedI've just commited changes to the blocks functions.
Now you have to activate the Custom Search Blocks to enable the additional blocks, and each block is configurable via the classic block admin.
There were so many changes to make this work so I need reviews!
