This is a awesome module but I can’t get it work. I don’t want to say it’s confusing but is it possible for someone to show me how to get it running step-by-step? Thanks.

dalinDid you start with the instructions in README.txt?
rockwright commentedYes I did. I put the OpenInviter library in the appropriate folder but the module doesn’t allow me to select an engine. Moreover, the module says that I don’t have cURL enabled but I do. I’m currently running this module on my localhost to test out before I put it on the remote host. I’m running my localhost on Windows XP. I really want to get this module up and running because my UGC site is supposed to be “self-promoting” and I want my users to have the easiest time to virally market my site. Please check out the attached screenshots to understand what I’m saying. Thanks.

dalinThanks for the screenshots.
It looks like you are probably suffering from this outstanding bug:
#766400: Don't cache providers if there aren't any
As for cURL, just because the file exists on your system, doesn't mean that PHP is loading it. Check
/admin/reports/status/php
For any reference to cURL.

rockwright commentedNo, I can’t find cURL with the link you’ve provided. How can I get cURL to run/start?
dalinThat is beyond what I'm willing to help you with. Google is your friend - search for cURL and the web stack that you are using (WAMP, MAMP, DAMP, etc.)

rockwright commentedThis is an awesome module. Once I got used to it, I really appreciate what it can do. No one remembers his friends’ e-mail address and no one wants to enter e-mail addresses one-by-one, he’ll just leave. With this module, it makes it simple for users to want to help website owners by virally marketing their sites. Anyway, I’m denied access when I click on the “import your contacts…” link even as the super administrator (who has all permissions by default). I enabled access permissions but still, registered users get the same denial I get. Please look at the attached file. The URL is mysite/contact_importer. Oh, and thanks for the previous support.

rockwright commentedOh never mind. I didn’t know Lightbox was a requirement and upon installing it, I was allowed access. But at any rate, I want to allow contact imports on the send to a friend page via the Forward module. I enabled the helper to display the form id and field for me but I can’t get the information when I’m on the send to a friend page. I think this module supports the Forward module and am stumped as to why this module won’t display the information for the send to a friend page. Please check out the attached file to see what I’m saying. Thanks.

dalinLightbox isn't a requirement, so that was a bug, fixed in latest beta.
The problem with Forward module was because Forward isn't technically using the Forms API correctly. It's a common practice however, so I've added a workaround that is also in the latest beta. Try it out and see if you still have issues.
