Forgive me if this is a duplicate, and please just point me in the right direction. I have been unable to find a feature request for this yet.

I would love to see some kind of link scraping features available with this module, essentially a user types in a link and then it pulls a thumbnail/teaser from the available link that you can choose to display with it. Yes, the example that comes to mind is Facebook. Wondering if there are any plans in the works for this. Thanks!

Probably not directly with this - that sounds a little more involved than what the Link module is intended to do.

Marking this as a duplicate of #868584: Show a teaser for the linked page, just like facebook. Even though this came first, that issue has a few suggestions that might be useful.
