Secondary menu items do not work on the homepage after upgrading to Drupal 6.16.

  • The menu items appear correctly but are not hyperlinked when viewed in Firefox or Chrome on both Windows and Linux platforms.
  • The menu works correctly on interior pages, the problem only occurs on the home page with Firefox and Chrome.
  • The secondary menu works correctly on all pages, including the homepage when viewed with IE7.
  • The secondary menu works correctly under other Drupal themes such as Garland and Marvin
  • The secondary menu works correctly using Zero Point 6.x-1.9 and Drupal 6.15, but not after upgrading to Drupal 6.16.
  • The issue occurs with the latest version of Zero Point 6.x-2.3, as well as versions 6.x-1.10 and 6.x-1.9.

I also noticed that the H1 site-name label wraps onto a second line in Firefox and Chrome, but not in IE7, but am not sure if that is related.

I can confirm this issue with the following setup:

Drupal: 6.17
Zero Point: 6.x-1.10
Platform: Windows Vista SP2

Browsers:
- Firefox 4.0 b3
- Internet Explorer (latest)
- Chrome (latest)
- Safari (latest)

The non-hyperlinking of the secondary menu items only seems to appear when menu position on the theme configuration page is set to "Right". When the menu is set to "Left" or "Center" the secondary menu items hyperlink correctly from the front page.

Unfortunately the latest release didn´t solve the problem.
The problem occurs with the following setup:

Drupal: 6.20
Zero Point: 6.x-1.12

Platform: Windows XP

Browsers:
- Firefox 3.6.15
- Chrome (latest)

Indeed it didn't. I have:
Drupal 6.x-dev (from 02/25/2011)
Zero Point 6.x-1.12
Platform: Windows 7 (on localhost) & Linux 2.6.18-194.8.1.el5 (on hosting)
Browser: Chrome 10.0

I am sorry but I can not reproduce the issue. Take a look at my sites using Zero Point 6.x-1.12:
- http://d6.sofpedia.ro/en - test site, both menus on the right (you may also switch to Hebrew);
- http://www.301.ro/ - live site, both menus on the center;
- http://www.mlnar.ro/en - live site using the main menu on the right.

You can test them with Firefox and Google Chrome.

Please share with me your URLs, to see what is going wrong.
