I added two more menu items and reorganized my menu items because the drop down menu got too long. Apparently I forgot to save my new menu tree which caused the sub-item to pop out of the menu after flushing the cache and reloading the website.
This happened to me before when I forgot to save the reorganized menu tree but with less dramatic effect. This time the tool bar overlays the whole screen!
This is really annoying because now I can't neither change or reset anything nor uninstall admin_menu. I'd be really thankfull if you would have any suggestions how to reset the admin menu or to uninstall the module now.

sunUnfortunately, this behavior is caused by a bug in Drupal core. Also linked on the project page: #550254: Menu links are sometimes not properly re-parented

Tom S.R. commentedHi Sun,
if I understood the issue correctly there's no patch right now to prevent this behaviour in certain cases. But the drupal6.menu-link-save-plid.patch fixes or resets the menu links when links are not properly re-parented?
Thanks for your help

sunThere is no working solution that could be easily applied, unfortunately. If it would be simple, would I have added that really big block + notice on the project page?
