On a shared server, which is better for Drupal, LiteSpeed Web Server or Apache Web Server?

Never used Litespeed, but I like Apache and there are alot of people using it thus having a large support base. Apache is also easily installed on most Linux distros and thats an added bonus.

Apache is the server of choice. It is widely used, very robust, often finely tuned and, as mentioned, there is a ton of support for it. Never heard of Litespeed, and it could be a good server as far as I know, but if you have your pick I would recommend to go with Apache hands-down.

I have the same question. This is what my host says: "LiteSpeed Web Server is the leading, high-performance web server that replaces the standard, Apache software. Is this true for Drupal? I was reading that it works best for static pages. My host only charges $15 more per month.

What do you guys think?
