Even after following the instructions in the Readme.txt and having a live discussion with the the author of the module, this configuration is not working out.

The preprocess functions are ok.
Must have something todo with the place of your upright10-60 slideshow themes.

Could you disable CSS and JS agregation for the moment and clear the cache again.

CSS and JS caching disabled.
Theme Cache Cleared.

upright10-60 themes are placed in: /sites/all/themes/custom/modules/ddblock/

Issue solved by installing the views_slideshow_ddblock themes instead of the ddblock themes in the folder of the theme called basic

/sites/all/themes/basic/custom/modules/views_slideshow_ddblock/vsd-upright10 - 60
