Default value

Sorry fot the delay, can you explain further what is exactly what you want? Do you want that the email get filled from some value of the url?, I think you could do that with a form alter and getting the value from the url...

I think I was wanting the same thing. Just the ability to set the default value to something like -- %get[email]

It's helpful if the form is started on a previous page. I'm not overly comfortable when you say form alter. That means there's a way to do it that I don't fully understand. It would be cool if you could set the default value like most other webform components.

Even without that though, this is a great addition to webform/simplenews. Very helpful!

I was able to just change the setting in the database to get the same result. So this would just be for convenience. Love the module/component regardless.
