Been working on this for two hours. I have the FAQ mod installed, I have taxonomy installed, I have all permissions correct, I have FAQ configured. I have CREATE CONTENT of FAQ showing all the correct fields, including taxonomy.
Issue, taxonomy choices are not appearing on the Create Content - FAQ page. MENU options show, but not taxonomy. I've cleared cache 5 times. Why is the taxonomy field not showing for FAQ????

Admin - Taxonomy settings
Vocabulary for FAQ
Did you "edit" the Vocabulary and assign a content type to the Vocabulary?
Have you added Items to the Vocabulary?
Go back to the vocabulary,
Go back to the vocabulary, edit and make sure the FAQ content type is enabled for the vocabulary.
yes and yes. FAQ is the only
yes and yes. FAQ is the only thing selected as type for this vocabulary. There are 3 terms in that vocabulary.
Taxonomy IS showing as one of the default fields for FAQ, its just NOT appearing when I try to Create Content - FAQ no matter where I drag and drop that field, it does not display on the create content page.
Anyone? Help? Need to
Anyone? Help? Need to create my FAQ, and if I can't categorize it then it will be one big cluster F$*#!
I tried playing around in the FAQ setup, disabling and re-enabling categories etc, but to no avail. Field is working correctly in other area like my shop.
No one has ever had this happen before? I feel so special :-P

Thanks I did, about an hour
Thanks I did, about an hour ago, no help yet. Updated to add that even though clicking on Frequently Asked Questions under my Important Stuff block takes me correctly to the frontpage of FAQ /faq, when I select the menu option to place content of FAQ with that as the Parent, there is nothing there. Obviously I totally screwed up something though I have no idea what. I'm becoming resigned to creating separate pages for each FAQ category that I wanted, like Materials, Shipping and Insurance, Policies, etc. I have no idea why the taxonomy won't work for FAQ and if you don't either then we really have a problem! But its very important for me as shop owner to have clarity to customers BEFORE google starts indexing products, and since I'm ready to add products I need to get this done, prior to beer:30. Its friday ya know. And I still have some products to get out from my other venues, a post office run, and state sales tax to file and pay. Disappointed I can't get this running but I'm not ready to waste the time today uninstalling and reinstalling it either, which seems to be my last ditch option anyway. And now that I've talked all that out, I may just go with Pages for each anyway, easier to point and click for the customers. Simple is better.
it worked for me
Somehow after a recent migration to v6, FAQ content type got unchecked on the FAQ vocabulary page, hence it wouldn't show the correspondent taxonomy terms.
Thank you

re: FAQ taxonomy terms not showing
I'm just brainstorming and not an expert. Check your settings here: /admin/settings/faq/categories
ummm I don't have
ummm I don't have admin/settings These are my options under admin/ * Content management

Ah if you mean Admin/faq/settings I have that. Categories box is checked and inline option is chosen.
FAQ module help page for troubleshooting
The FAQ module developer has a good help section at http://drupal.org/node/129209. Read through all the articles to see if you missed a step or a setting.

@wireyourworld -
Did you ever get this figured out?
I to have a problem in which I can't see the Taxonomy select menu when I create a product.
I have vocab and terms setup with 'product' selected...it just does not show up so I can select a category to put my product in.
Let me know...
Thanks
Check taxonomy settings after Drupal upgrade
I don't know why, but every time I do a Drupal core upgrade, the Taxonomy check boxes for the FAQ module get unchecked. I had it happen on some other module a long time ago.
If you are not seeing your Taxonomy choices or maybe your FAQ page is blank, check at the Taxonomy settings page.
