First of all my compliments for this module, which addresses very important, but also very complex functionalities. Without it, I would have had to create much more cumbersome structures in my content types.

I would like to know what is the current state of the multigroup module.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about what is going to be available for D6, which will be the version used on production environments for quite some time to go, and what will be available for D7.

Decisions on what modules to use on current environments on D6 are heavily affected by whether that module will be available for D7 and, if not, whether a smooth upgrade/migration path to another "better" module will be provided.

At this point in time I find that the Multigroup module does not provide me anything stable for D6 (correct me if I wrong please), while the Flexifield module is providing some functionalities which work quite well in D6.

So my current choice is Flexifield.

But if Flexifield is not going to be upgraded to D7, where is that going to leave me?

Perhaps is then better not to use Flexifield at all, if it not going to be ported to D7.

I feel that many other users may have my same doubts on this subject.

My vote is for a long life to Flexifield, but hey who am I to judge?! :)

I attach a screenshot of one of my sites where I successfully use Flexifield.

Perhaps it is possible to keep this thread running similarly to State of the multigroup module with updates on the state and roadmap for this module?

Thank you in advance for your input.

CCK 6x 3 dev with Multigroup seems to have been booted from the CCK page... For now Flexifield seems to be the viable solution.

Bumping this topic to ask the maintainer (effulgentsia): What is happening with this module? The last commit was 16 weeks ago and you haven't been on the forums much, so I wanted to verify that this module is still living!
