Today, Monday August 7, 2006 the new Redstate Network goes live on Drupal! We've converted this very big site from Scoop, and are very proud to be using Drupal for our next-gen platform. Right now we have Redstate.com and ConfirmThem.com using singlesingon.module, and we'll be adding four more blogs to the network over the next week.

The existing content was copied over and contained more than 18,000 nodes and 225,000 comments. It makes heavy use of views and CCK to achieve a very custom look. Redstate currently gets about 20,000 unique visitors per day and about 1M pageviews per month - but during news events those numbers can increase 3-5x.

Thanks to the Drupal developers who have made this possible. This is truly an impressive project and we are thankful for your hard work.

Please, please share your method for converting. I'm struggling with this right now and any pointers would be appreciated.

well done, looks really good.

Appears you guys are sharing the user database across your network of sites. Just curious what method you used to accomplish this. Loooking to convert one of my sites to Drupal and share one user registration with another Drupal site.

thanks.
