Hi kbahey,
Do You plan in future add ability to use text in watermark?
All intents and purposes, I want to add some copyright mark to my images (it's not realy watermark, but the same in principle). And if Your module will have ability to use title and description of image as watermark on it - it's will be great!

suggested text watermark options:
* ROTATION 0/45/90/135/180/...
* TEXT COLOR (e.g. black)
* FILL COLOR (e.g. yellow) = hollow / non-hollow selection.
* GLOW color (around the text, in order to have the text stand out even on dark images).
* FONT FACE selection - have a good small font.
* FONT SIZE selection
* Bold / italics
...

Also: allow wildcards on the watermark text: e.g. %taxomy_name, %url, %node_title, %author.
This would allow phases like "Copyright (c) by %author - http://www.example.com/clipart/user/%username"
