Content Field value showed outside content area

Hi

I have a cck field "field_test". The value of that field is printed on content area. The thing I want is to print that field value on header of the page. I probably will be adding code to page.tpl.php to show on the header.

Is there a way to accomplish this? I would really appreciate all heads up
