Hi I have two different websites using one database. One website name is "Example". If I want to change second website name to "NewExample" using the site information what will happen on existing website "Example"? since two websites are using same database details.

there are means of overriding site information settings/variables, see your settings.php file for more information, which is the easiest means to do so.

I have come to an understanding that is two websites are having two different setting file so that they might have different sitting information for each individuals. Just correct me if I am wrong.

What about the changes that are stored in database tables?

I don't understand you, I'm sorry. where do those individuals come from? we're talking about your site name, and other variables found in the variables table of your Drupal install. If you change the site name in the settings.php file, then this will be true for every user of your site.

Let us assume there is node number 6(node/6) which contain some information on website "Example(first website)". I could access the same node on website "NewExample(Second website)". If I do some changes in node 6 on website "NewExample" what would appear on "Example" website when I access node 6? Does it show content before changed or after changed?

I don't understand you, I'm sorry, particularly I don't know where your confusion comes from.

When you save any node, it is saved in the database, and the next time that information is accessed regardless which website makes that request, the changes will be reflected.

So, Can you suggest me how to maintain two websites with one database? Let me explain you my requirements. Assume that on first site I have 10 category terms. Content is categorized based on that terms. On another site I don't want to give an access or publish all the content but few of the categories and its related content. Let me say it as 6 categories of 10 from first website.
