I am trying to setup the Family Tree module using the Organic Groups but I dont think its possible unless someone has a way of setting it up.

I changed the Organic groups usage: field on the Family:Group node to group node I then created the individuals adding them as a Family:groups. When I log in as a user I am unable to view the Family:Groups unless I join that group which is good but I am able to view all other Family:Individual nodes bypassing the permissions.

I noticed that the standard settings for creating a group using Organic Group the Type field is enabled and I am able to add, but with the Family:Group node the Type field is disabled and cant be modified. It seems there is no way of setting it up as a standard organic group.

I think it would be a great feature to have since many individuals wouldnt want there private information to appear to their 5th, 6th cousins. If there is a way to do it or if its something that is being worked on please let me know.
