I used cvs to add this theme: DRUPAL-6--2-96

As you can see on PDF attachment I get an available updates error, saying that I have 6--1-7 but I do not.

I notice that many themes have this issue. Is there some way I can modify file in theme to eliminate?

This issue is being closed because it is against a branch for a version of Drupal that is no longer supported.
If you feel that this issue is still valid, feel free to re-open and update it (and any possible patch) to work with the 7.x-4.x branch.
