As a result of installing an update to the Clock module, I installed the Libraries API module. However, when I go to my modules page, I see Libraries there, but the checkbox to enable it is grayed out and unclickable. Although I've looked at what I can think of, I'm not an expert, so I don't know what else to check.

Any ideas will be most appreciated. Thanks.

That means that another, already installed module added a dependency on Libraries API. Just submit the modules form without any changes and Libraries API should be enabled afterwards.
