I am running drupal 4.7.2 on lamp with urlify latest version (may 2006).

There's a setting where i can set how many characters of the url to be shown. The default is 72. I changed the value, and click save. It doesn't get saved.

If you need more info, I can give you an admin account on my test site for you to see the problem.

Thank you for this module. It makes lots of people in my community's life easier.

Can't seem to reproduce this. I may have to take you up on the offer to access your site. Also, should the default trim length be 50? I don't know where 72 came from.
