I noticed that the fb connect module was not authenticating properly. This was causing issues with the sessions table and (mostly) caching which caused problems with authenticated users to be randomly logged out or when they logged out the page would still show them logged in.

I will try to do some more research into why this is happening.

I've noticed some flakyness with facebook connect sessions. But most of the time it works reasonably well. And really I think the flakyness is on their end.

Just yesterday, facebook announced support for oauth. I'm really hoping that using that fixes some of these problems. I hope to know more in the next day or two.

Subscribing. I have almost similar problem. While logged in via FB connect, the login form was there, weird :(

Still digging around.
