The maxlength of the company name field is only 20 characters, which is too small for many names. I far as I know, this is not a limit imposed by Get Satisfaction, so I can be increased.

64 seems a bit arbitrary too, or did you make any more thorough research? From inspection of Get Satisfaction input field on their company creation page it doesn't seem limited at all (so 255 chars limit would apply).
