Enabling printing capabilities using print module

I'm posting this in both issue queues because I'm not sure where the issue is at. My first thought was here, so I'm going to post it here first and see what I get.

I'm making checkbox lists on some of my node pages and I'd like to be able to print the nodes using the "Printer, e-mail and PDF versions" (print) module to create a clean output. When I go to the print-ready version it removes all checks from the checkbox, rendering it useless.

Any ideas of how to make this work? Is it something to do with the filter? It's just a little strange because it displays checkboxes just fine. Let me know if this is something that could be supported.
