Would anyone else be interested in being able to specify a class for each individiaul menu item?
Something like this would really help the designers out and allow us to keep the menus in drupal and allow us to be more flexible with the design. I havne't looked to much into this, but if it's doable and others are interested, I'm sure we can submit some code for it.

Yes, that's a fantastic idea! We could provide an ability to specify arbitrary classes for a menu item or an ID.
