Is it possible to use Cumulus for external links, where you could have a text field with a specified url?

It would be lovely if it was somewhat more generic, so you could say use a menu to populate the cloud or a nodequeue.

I've done a totally hacked up module called CloudMenu that renders any given menu as a cloud and published it as a sandbox project. See http://drupal.org/sandbox/cafuego/1283666

I'm not sure if the cumulus maintainers would be interested in adding this in as a second module (say cumulus_menu or somesuch) instead of it being its own thing?
