i changed size restrictions to higher number (2000x2000) from default and then this issue happened.
i changed again to 0(no restr) but it still remains.
its easy to upload images again а they are few, but its not easy if you have many...

what did i do wrong?

i have all modules for gallery assist upgraded to the last stable release and jquery 1.3.2 via latest jquery update

Hello Aurochs,

The size restriction filter work only during the upload process. The function to upload the files is "file_save_upload", the function to validate the sizes "file_validate_size" and both functions belong to the Drupal core, both are in the file.inc and having nothing to do with the display of the Gallery Assist Container or in this case CoolIris container also it means existing files are not affected.

Definitely to help you I need more information or better a link to investigate the source text.

The preview image exists but why I do not see the preview image in the preview view?

go to Gallery Assist Settings > Extras and clear the Gallery cache. I want to check this to.

I cleared all caches in all places, the only thing i did not look into is imagecache
will try again

i also tried and made all permissions in files folder 777

I forgot to add that when i changed max image size restrictions in GALLERY ASSIST, my thumbnails size settings in gallery assist became blank. which i have corrected manually.
