Hi,

i confess i don't know to raise a ticket so please pardon me if the ticket is wrongly raised.

Here is the issue, folks:

I received an error "There was an error submitting the form to /panels/ajax/configure/1/1" while editing http://poemsnprose.com/home ... a screenshot has been attached. I have no idea where this issue came from! Never got his error before... Please help. I'm completely stuck because I'm not being able to update the front page... :((

How can i resolve this? Please help! I'm so confused!!!

Regards,
Amartya

I suspect the problem is that it's trying to render that <iframe> and that's causing the javascript on the server side to crash.

Your best bet may be to create code that uses things like iframes in an actual block or as a content type plugin which will avoid this problem.

Merlin ...

Thanks for the response ... But it can't be because of Iframe ... because this happens with EVERYTHING... every pane or anything that uses these ajex popups... I seriously need help on this because I'm not being able to update the site at all... here is some more input...

While updating the site i get the following error:

Updating
An unrecoverable error has occurred. You can find the error message below. It is advised to copy it to the clipboard for reference.
Please continue to the error page

An HTTP error 0 occurred. http://poemsnprose.com/update.php?id=77&op=do

on clicking on "Please continue to the error page" i get.

The update process was aborted prematurely while running update #6101 in ajax_ui.module. All errors have been logged. You may need to check the watchdog database table manually.

when i click on "All errors have been logged"... i get,

access denied ... messages/pmgrowl_json

that's the only error there in recent times

I'm damn sure those two are related and we need to find a way to come out of this web of complications...

Hopefully someone on the know will be able to see this...

Regards,...

Hmm. Panels doesn't do anything on update.php -- so this suggests you've got some kind of server misconfiguration that's getting away of everything, even core AJAX calls. I'm not sure what advice I can give you on that. :/

Other ajax functions are working just fine! :(

@amartya: I'm sorry that your issue hasn't been resolved, but there is unfortunately not enough information in here for anyone to help you further. You will need to do some debugging in order to pin this down further before we can help you. Please re-open this issue if you find more information that indicate this is a Panels problem.

The "Panel Nodes" part of Panels is deprecated in favor of the new Panelizer project which allows you to attach panels to any node.
I'm closing most issues related to the "Panel nodes" component in order to clear up the issue queue. If you feel that an issue is still relevant, please just re-open it.
