IE8 gives the search block, when included to a panel, a fixed height that really screws up the layout. If killing of IE were possible, I'd go for it. But since that isn't likely, I have to bother you with this.

Another contributed module's block did the same thing: autocomplete node finder. The navigation block however is just fine.

I tried making changes to CSS to compensate for the IE problem, but it did nothing.

multiflex-5.x-1.x-dev is no longer supported. Please feel free to download the latest version (6.x-2.x-dev or 7.x-3.x-dev), test it out with above issue, and reopen this ticket if case still happening. Up to this point I will mark the issue as won't fix.
