The email code was completely overhauled in the 1.x -> 2.x update, but the fax-sending code remains problematic, and should probably leverage the email functionality better.

I'm not a coder, but looking through the module code, I see the fax functions starting at line 1091, although they're not included in the $actions array (line 39). I assume this is why I don't see fax as an option. (If I'm wrong, please let me know!)

When you say the code is "problematic," does that mean that it doesn't work at all, should merely be improved or something in between? Even if the code isn't optimal, it could still potentially be very useful for a project I'm working on.
