I thought it noteworthy to mention I found the package today after some searching. I didn't see any similar posts on here.
http://github.com/facebook/platform/blob/master/clients/packages/faceboo... is a new source for Facebook's PHP platform. http://github.com/facebook/platform is the platform root directory. Might want to change the readme if you have a sec. http://svn.facebook.com/svnroot/platform/clients/packages/facebook-platf... no longer exists because they've moved to github.

Hi!

I too was having problems trying to download facebook-platform.tar.gz
I eventually found my way to github, but I cannot find a download to facebook-platform there... ?

Could anyone help with a download of the file (if only the hosting has changed, and the file hasn't changed, maybe someone could upload a recent download here?)

This is still a documentation issue -> setting the status back to active. I fixed the download and installation page here http://drupal.org/node/205476

But the readme needs to purge its references to svn.

submit a patch next time you need an urgent change to a README file?

Can't see any matches on the string "svn" anywhere in either 6.x-3.x or 7.x-3.x which are the recommended branches.
