I've translated disknode-module.pot to es.po, but just can't figure out how to get it to work.

Can disknode be localized? how?

you should import your .po file using Administer->Localization->Import.

You may want to put your translation in the CVS for everyone's benefit (see the Tranlsators Guide, or post here the .po and I'll do it).
