I have several Drupal
I have several Drupal websites on Bluehost, and they seem to do good.
The support service is great, too.
UberCart hosting BlueHost
Good to hear. They're little ad they have going on the Drupal.org hosting page seems quite attractive. I just need some basic hosting for beta testing. My site has community aspects as well as UberCart.
Anyone have experience running UberCart with BlueHost?
Cheers
I set up a site with UberCart
I set up a site with UberCart for a client on a BlueHost account. I did not run into any problems.

Thanks for the reply. Does BlueHost give the site admin good access into changing/adding/working with Drupal?

(Sorry for the late reply.)
I have not had any problems. Of course, I am more of a designer than a developer, so it might be that my needs are different from others.
I have full access to my server via FTP plus the control panel gives me access to my databases. I have never been unable to do what I want to do. I even have a multi-site installed which took me about 10 minutes to set in install.
Personally, I find bluehost
Personally, I find bluehost to be garbage. The service is iffy at best, and if you have anything above a simple problem, it can take days to fix. I stopped using them a couple of years ago in my private time, though I still deal with them for my biggest client.
On my own site, Drupal ran fine (though slow) until I got to a certain point. Then I started getting shut down when it used too much memory, with a nice little error recommending that I disable php scripts as they are resource intensive. That doesn't really make sense for a Drupal installation, and it looked bad for my business.
I've since switched to semi-dedicated hosting on MDD hosting. The service is excellent, downtime is literally non-existent (I haven't had any in the year and a half I've been with them), and the servers are fast. It's a little more expensive than other hosts, but you get what you pay for. Bluehost is cheap, but it's cheap for a reason, and you pay for it in other ways.
I strongly recommend giving Bluehost a pass.
Contact me to contract me for D7 -> D10/11 migrations.
Thanks for your honesty. I
Thanks for your honesty. I will look into MDD. Anyone else had less than favorable experiences with BlueHost?
The only time you get less
The only time you get less than favorable experiences with Bluehost is when your site got too many traffic and exceed their "Hosting Resource Protection" policy. Anyway, it's a cheap hosting solution at a price of $3.95/month, really should not expect too much from them. Only recommend for low traffic Drupal site or to new Drupaler when learning Drupal.
Bluehost issues
My site has very slow page-loading times, but not sure if it's Bluehost or a problem with my site.
They say you can have unlimited email accounts, forwarders, and mailing lists, but they limit the number of emails you send per hour to 150, though you can ask for it to be increased. Limitations would not be so bad if they queued the messages and sent them the next hour, but they don't so then you don't know who received emails and who didn't.
If someone reports your site for spam, Bluehost shuts down your site immediately with a notice saying your site has been flagged for spamming. They do send an email to you, but if you're not online, you do not know your site is dead (and labeled as a spammer) until a user calls and asks about it or you check your email.
