I only have one image, and it only seems to appear when editing some nodes. The image correctly appears in the header. Until there is a resolution to this problem, I modified the CSS to just use the single image.

Scott J commentedI now have the same problem after upgrading Drupal to 6.17 version. I am not yet sure if this is related, or perhaps I have accidentally changed permissions on a folder? I have not had this problem until now, but shall continue to investigate.
If anyone has any ideas, then do speak up.
