Installed FCKEditor, used to modify a story and include a linked photo within the story. Looks good in the editor however when I save the story, it is not in the preview or the final version on the front page.

I installed FCK editor today hoping to have nice pictures embedded in my stories. It looks good in the editor but does not show up in the preview or final version. Any ideas? Could it have to do with my image link? is there a problem with the editor?

FCK Editor module 6.x-2.1
FCKEditor 2.6.6

Attached/uploaded picture, used (absolute) link which then appeared below the attachment field as the link when choosing a picture in FCKEditor.

Looks ok in editor, can't see it in final version.
The picture appears on its own, e.g., http://mysite.com/sites/default/files/mypicture.png
Using Full HTML input format (allows img)

Update on this:
I got it to work when I noticed that there are two 'image upload' icons in the FCKEditor toolbar.
The larger one works; the smaller one doesn't. (?)
(Centering still doesn't work, but that's for another day.)

What other modules do you have enabled?

don't forget to set your input format to Full HTML rather than Filtered HTML for that content type. Or you can change the list of acceptable HTML tags under the Filtered HTML setting.
