IE7: Drop-down menu submenus IE issue

IE7 issues with drop-down menus were fixed in head. I won't be fixing this for IE6.

Fixed again in revisions 7.x-1.12 and 6.x-1.12.

Version 6.x-1.12

1.) The title of the menu disappears on mouse over (css-problem) in IE7. Firefox is o.k.
2.) On mouse over in IE7 it makes a little jump.

This seems to be resolved as of release 6.x-1.15

I spend 30 minutes on this issue but I was unable to figure out what is causing it.

It works perfectly in my IE8. I change title and version.

I didn't see before that some reports above referred to 7.x. What do you want this thread for, Jarek?

The little jump issue is still present in both versions, so lets change status to active.

After update to 6.x-1.15 the text is still white.

@breitner I'm unable to reproduce it, check my screenshot.

BTW, I will be working on better compatibility with IE soon, I have already found an awesome library that adds support for rounded corners.

Note to others, where the menu is in list form perhaps only on some pages, like the image in post #3 (ie7.jpg)

If the page has more than 31 style-sheets on the page, try installing the IE CSS Optimizer module, which will fix this known issue: "Internet Explorer will refuse to load more than 31 linked style-sheets." http://drupal.org/project/ie_css_optimizer

After installing IE CSS Optimizer module all is well 8o)

Absolutely -- if you're done messing with the CSS and tpl.php's 8o)

But while developing themes or modules the IE CSS Optimizer is the right solution, which could be then removed when development is finished.

Yep, agreed, I use the Optimizer module also on Drupal 6 during dev/site building etc - its great.
