Rather than enter signatures manually in the text area, I needed the ability to upload the manually collected signatures as a CSV file. I've hacked the original petition.module file a bit to enable this to work and thought I would share the file here in case anyone found this useful. This is really my first time under the bonnet of a drupal module so I can guarantee that this is not the most elegant of solutions but it does seem to work and I would be interested if anyone has any feedback.

If you want to locate the changes, I've commented them (there are three chunks of added code) and each comment contains the string %ADAM%

Thank you! it works, however no matter what I do, in both situations, the Country field is not being recognized.
