To add a text field one can select a data type: "Select list", "Check boxes/radio buttons" and "Text field". Would it be possible to the following support?

-- an option setting for a default value of the field;
-- because of a specific field shared by all of content types, one can set a different default value for different content types.
-- also support other cck fields, such as Integer Field, Decimal Field ...

it would be good to add in a default blank value in select lists as well if users don't choose a value, otherwise it defaults to the first option in the list
