I'm trying to get arguments to give me the following url paths through the Event Start field, but can't see a way of setting any options to filter the date into the constituent pieces:

/YYYY

/YYYY/MMM

/YYYY/MMM/DDD

Can anyone point me in the right direction, it's really frustrating to have all this power of Views and not be able to get it configured correctly!

Did you try using - instead of / I assume year probably works, but I bet the last 2 wouldnt.
