Sorry I lost track of node gallery 3 again. I was too busy with other stuff. Here is a quickfix as a starter.
Setting a cover image tried to access a "weight" column on the galleries table which does not exist. Perhaps the weight column should actually exist to be able to sort galleries? In that case say so and ignore the patch.
Sorry for adding it to 6.x-2.x-dev, but there is no version 6.x-3.x yet.

PS: it's the first time I create a patch with netbeans. I hope this works out of the box (it's quite comfortable). :)

Re: 3-x-dev, once I get some time to sit down and do it, I will create a -dev release so that we can start filing bugs against it. I'd like to finish up some nagging 2.x bugs first.
