I've been using this module with FF and Chrome successfully, but when my user tried it using Internet Explorer 8 it didn't work. I tested as well and it also fails. My IE8 version is 8.0.6001.18702. Turns out it's an incompatibility with the Drag'n'Drop Uploads module when used with IE8. Since that module doesn't work in IE8 without Gears it causes an error on the node edit page and I think this throws off the Tagging module javascript. I'm not sure where exactly the fault lies. For now I've disabled Drag'n'Drop uploads as it's less important then tagging.

Well this is not related to tagging, as the JS-error is caused by the other module. In IE, every JS errormeans JS-halt - so all the tagging js code never gets exectuted. Please insert this issue in the queue of the d&d upload module
