I've changed the parameters in /admin/settings/tribune to what I consider to be the best values. However, when I create a new tribune node (/node/add/tribune), the parameters are all at the default settings - so I have to set them all again manually.

Yes, these settings have no effect and are going to disappear.

Though actually, it's tribune 6.x-2.x that is going to disappear because it isn't built on sane bases. It's going to be replaced with a 3.x some time.

Well... in that case can I change this to a feature request? It's a pain changing the defaults every time, and I don't see why they shouldn't work as default settings do in other node types.

Sorry, 6.x-2.x is dead, 7.x-3.x doesn't have this issue.
