We need some specific functionality which gives more control to the parent account over the child account(s), as defined by CiviCRM relationships and memberships. (This control includes editing Drupal login info of child accounts). Currently a parent account has a membership that is shared with their child accounts. If their membership expires, the existing CiviCRM modules can change the role of the parent and child accounts to be "expired." We'd like the parent account to be able to see and edit child account info, and child accounts to be able to see (but not edit) admin accounts and CiviCRM membership info.
See the linked RFP (PDF document) for further detail. Let me know if you have any questions.
We'd love for this to be designed in a way that will be as widely useable as possible, as I believe others may have a use for this if it's built right. (e.g. parents control child accounts, employers control employee login info, etc.) Our hope is to open source it and if the team finds it useful, perhaps include this module with the other core Drupal modules in core.
We are requesting proposals by May 25, 2010. If you need more time and let us know in advance we may be able to still consider it.
