I'm currently using Auto Assign and Content Profile on a job posting type site. My question is, does anyone know of a way to have different registration processes based on roles?

E.g. When an company registers and is auto assigned an "employer" role they need to be activated by an admin. But when a job seeker registers they can be activated through email conformation.

Is there a module out there to work around this or is this even possible without hacking the core?
