Just finished installing this module, including the "Drupal for Facebook Streams" module. I guess I was assuming there was some basic functionality to configure somewhere to just input facebook info and post newly published node info on a facebook wall.

It seems like this would be a pretty common thing, and one of the first that people would do with a facebook module (similar to the twitter module that includes a checkbox for sending a tweet about your new content entry), but I can't seem to figure this out.

Am I looking at the wrong module, or have I missed something?

I'm wondering this too. I checked the handbook page faq, and did not see anything. I'm wondering if there is a different module and I'm looking at the wrong one.

Thank God I'm not the only one. I'm choosing this module over postiteverywhere.module.

I believe I'd read somewhere that a share feature is already in this module? Is it the Drupal for Facebook Streams module/plugin? But I can't find any settings for that when I'd already enabled it.

Still can't find anything on this, but it seems like there is a "twitter for facebook" module if anyone else needs a dirty workaround and uses twitter too. You can install the application in facebook which will let twitter update your facebook status, and then simply use the twitter module for drupal which announces to twitter.

It's not a simple feature to enable, because each wall post is a data structure with custom media, links, etc. But just a little code in your custom module does the trick.

It is documented: http://drupal.org/node/685320
