Hello,

The userreference seems to be an outstanding TO DO/task (readme.txt).
I'd like to open an issue for this task so people could stay up-to-date for the current dev status.
Is it already possible to say when this feature will be implemented?
I'm really looking forward to see it in action. :)

I'd also like adding of userreference, but, like facebook, could it be restricted to connections made through the user-relationship module?

I suggest, instead of using comment cid as ref in this module, use a custom content type as annotate, just like what webform module is doing.

so we can:

  1. use user reference easily, even tags, nodes
  2. manage coordinates easily by cck field
  3. title is required in node, but body is not #769866: just tag, no comments

I would prefer having comments, two reasons:

1. People could read the comments along with "image tags".
2. If any time in the future didn't want users to tag the images, you could still see the comments/tags.
