I am trying to get Windows Live Writer to connect seamlessly to my site. I run a semi-private family site. So anonymous users and "authenticated users" (the drupal default) don't have access to most of the site.
When I try to connect with windows live writer, it can't detect the site settings. And when I look in my log I see that it is getting a blogapi/rsd denied (Anonymous).
Obviously, this is a permissions issue. Does anyone know how to give anonymous access to blogapi/rsd? And if so, is that something to be concerned about security wise.
Thanks,

I have just gone through this whole exercise of making Windows Live Writer work with Drupal.
